What Is The Difficulty Level Of Chulu Far East Climbing?
Chulu Far East Climbing is not a short trek to be easy. As it lies 6059 meters above sea level, it is one of the most challenging actions to dare do. The peak comes with numerous difficulties and challenges that require technical preparation and experience. However, it is considered the 'Easiest' peak to climb out of the three Chulu Peaks. On average, Chulu Far East Climbing comes with 'moderate' difficulty.
First things first, the challenge remains because of its high altitude. Such a high altitude can bring several health hazards like altitude sickness, HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema), and HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema). HACE and HAPE are often called late or end-stage acute mountain sickness (AMS), which is dangerous and life-threatening. Altitudes over 6000 meters above sea level are hyper-prone to altitude sickness, and symptoms like headaches, nausea, and fatigue can be seen anytime. It significantly affects a climber's ability to climb the peak. That's why we recommend that mountaineers acclimate appropriately before climbing.
Apart from that, Chulu Far East climbing is also technically challenging. Mountaineers need to have some technical climbing skills and use gears like crampons, ice axes, and climbing ropes. The route to the top of Chulu Far East peak is sloppy and slippery, so you must be hyper-conscious about every move you make during the climb, and these skills will help you. If you are well-known for using equipment correctly, you can have a soothing climbing experience.
Besides, to climb Chulu Far East peak, you must traverse through glaciers, steep ridges, and rocky terrains, which are technically and physically challenging. You must use your physical energy and technical skills to complete the climb successfully. Mountaineers should also be mindful of unpredictable weather conditions around the region, which can adversely impact your climb.
Overall, Chulu Far East climbing is moderately challenging—the peak's technical, physical, and natural difficulties sum it all up. However, with a proper plan, extensive experience, and acclimatization, you can climb this peak without much hassle. For that, hire a professional guide and equip yourself with appropriate gear and equipment, and rest will be assured.
Best Time For Chulu Far East Climbing
Seasons are an inevitable part of expeditions and they are very important and crucial to prepare for. Similarly, the rain and wind precipitation is low during the Autumn season in Nepal, making your expedition easy.
The Autumn season starts right after the end of the monsoon, which makes the landscapes dry. It means you will get rid of the slippery terrains that can make your expedition challenging. Since this season brings colorful foliage and clear views of the surroundings, including mountains, green forests, and villages, it is one of the busiest seasons. You may encounter crowds on the route to Chulu Far East.
Spring:
The Spring season in Nepal starts in April and ends in June, and it is another peak time to climb Chulu Far East Peak. Like Autumn, the weather is stable, and you can have clear views with the help of clear skies with fewer clouds.
During this season, the flowers bloom at full pace, and the greenery of the forests is recovered, which offers one of the breathtaking views from the region. So with the colorful view of the surroundings and the thrilling adventure of Chulu Far East climbing, your expedition will be one of the greatest of all time during the Spring.

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing successful :) :) :)
We had Trekked Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Upper Mustang and Manaslu Circuit in Nepal before we summit Chulu Far East Peak. Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition has experience trekking and mountaineering leaders. We never choose other trekking agents in Nepal since we impressed by their service from our previous trips.

Chulu Far East Peak – Truly adventurous climbing experience !!! Thanks NGT !!
We booked our climbing of Chulu Far East Peak with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition via the Internet. The hospitality of the NGT team was truly inspiring. From the moment we landed on Kathmandu we were taken very good care of. During our climbing period – all our Sherpa team were co-operative and helpful. Our guide was Ang-Dawa Sherpa, we will definitely like to do more climbing with him. Overall, we had a great time and learned a lot about technical climbing.
Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition !! Highly Recommended !!

Great Adventure at ‘ Chulu Far East Peak ‘ successful climb !!
Previously we have done a few treks with Nepal Guide Treks and Expeditions. This time we booked our trip from trekking to peak climbing. We are well known with the excellent service that we have received from Nepal Guide Treks in our previous trekking. Likewise, this time as well the performance of the team have exceeded our expectations.
Our climbing guide was Dendi Sherpa, very energetic and intelligent person. His guidance leads us to the summit of Chulu Far East Peak. Frankly speaking Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition has a long and good experience related to trekking and mountaineering.
Thanks to everyone in the team for outstanding hard work and patience !!
We couldn’t have had made it to the summit if we were on our own. We will come back for more trekking and peak climbing together with Nepal Guide Treks and Expeditions !!
Until next time, see you soon !!
