Highlights
Himlung Himal Expedition is one of the classical and iconic Himalayan expeditions popular as one of the easiest and least technical peaks in the 7,000-meter class. Due to the fewer technical segments on the mountain and the safe climbing route, the Himlung Himal Expedition has the highest record summit success rate in comparison to other peaks.
Himlung Himal was only opened for tourists in 1992 and was scaled for the first time by a Japanese expedition team in the same year. Standing tall in the same Himalayan belt as the towering giants like Manaslu and Annapurna, this magnificent peak is located near the border area between Nepal and Tibet.
This expedition starts by joining the mainstream trekking route of the Annapurna region, then deviates toward the Nar and Phu Valley to the Manaslu region, northeast of Annapurna. Himlung expedition in Nepal explores the remote-secluded regions of the Nepal- Tibet borders and across the mysterious hidden valley in the Himalayas, Nar, and Phu that were opened to tourists only recently.
So, if you are looking for a Himalayan expedition of moderate scale, slightly more challenging than the regular trekking peak, to test your mountaineering skills. Thrilling Peak Climbing
The Himlung Himal expedition was a life-changing one for me. Not to be overdramatic, but this incredible journey changed my perspective on life. This peak climbing adventure was extraordinarily satisfying and took me closer to nature. I have to credit Peak Climbing Nepal for such a fulfilling package.
All through the exhausting climb, the team was there to support and safeguard me. There were first aid and other emergency facilities in case we needed them. These facilities made us stay calm and focused on our peak climbing. The views of the snow-clad mountains were enchanting, and we loved every minute of our stay in the Himalayan region. So, anyone who wants to delve into peak climbing should definitely look into this package from Peak Climbing Nepal.

Adventurous Himlung Expedition
Himlung Himal was everything we had hoped for. This incredible mountain had scenic trails and we took lots of pictures on the journey to the peak. The itinerary was well spread accommodating rest, acclimatization, training and climbing days. This was also a great practice ground for Everest which I am planning to climb next year.
The mountain was relatively easier, and the overall journey was quite smooth. I had no such issues with the team as such. I would recommend this expedition from Peak Climbing Nepal to anyone who is looking for a moderate level peak climbing adventure.

Stunning Peak Climbing
Honestly, we did not know about the beautiful Himlung Himal before. However, as we were looking for a great peak to climb in the Himalayan nation of Nepal, we found this peak to be the perfect choice. With the team’s consultation at Peak Climbing Nepal, we chose Himlung for our expedition.
The scenic trail leading to the base camp and then to the summit was picturesque. Although the routes were challenging, we managed to push through with the help of extensive training and motivation. The cultural settlements of the region, including the Sherpa community, were a unique experience for us. A huge thanks to the Peak Climbing Nepal team for a well-curated Himlung Himal expedition package.

Wonderful Trekking & Successful Climb of ‘ Himlung Himal ‘ with NGT !!
We have recently completed our Himlung Expedition with the NGT team. The top-level of service and excellent teamwork is how we describe Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition. Everything prior and after the trip was taken well of. We always felt safe and accompanied by loyal and hardworking members. Amazing trek around Phu valley !! Very impressive monasteries and religion. Our climbing guide was Dendi Sherpa, very wise skilful climber. He always made decisions only after making discussions with us. So, there was no problem with anything. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time during the whole trip. Although we had a less technical section, reaching the summit was a dream come true experience. We are all very happy and satisfied with the team’s performance.
Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition !! Highly Recommended !!
