Highlights
Lhotse is a spectacular Himalayan peak located south of Mount Everest and linked through the South Col. With an elevation of 8,516 m (27,940 ft) and prominence of 610m, it is the fourth tallest peak in the world. Lhotse has the most prominent mountain face at 3.2 km high and 2.25 km wide.
This stunning peak shares the same route as that of Mt Everest, passing through the South Col. From “Geneva Spur,” the route to the Lhotse summit takes you rightward through a steep climb on a long couloir. The Western face is generally the most preferred climbing route.
Lhotse massif includes three different summits. The Lhotse Main is the highest among them, with 8,516 m in elevation. The other summits include Lhotse Shar (8,383 m) and the Lhotse East/Middle (8,413 m). The Lhotse Main was first submitted in 1956 by a Swiss team.
While crossing the Lhotse face, you will encounter Lhotse Couloir, a huge ice gully. It is the most challenging part of the expedition. Moreover, there are steep 80-degree inclines as well in the mountain. Mountaineers must know the proper use of equipment to tackle many technical sections above 8000m.
To arrive at the Lhotse Base Camp, you must trek for around two weeks. The beautiful trek passes through numerous natural terrains and conservation areas to arrive at the base camp. There are many cultural and religious heritages along the trail.
After arriving at the base camp, you will spend around 28-30 days acclimatizing, training, and finally summiting Lhotse. There are four camps before the summit of Lhotse. Our team, which consists of experienced Sherpa guides, will help you all along the climbing journey.
We provide you with this Lhotse expedition package at a reasonable price. We assure you of a safe and successful Himalayan expedition. Read more about the Lhotse Expedition in detail and book in advance. Happy Adventure!

Trip Reviews
November 2022
John BrownUSA
In Team-work There Is Strength
In the year 2022, I wanted a challenging adventure. I have prior experience in high-altitude mountaineering, but this was my first time in Nepal. Scrolling through various web pages, I came across Nepal Guide Treks and Expeditions. Oh My Gosh!! They were so good at client service.
Soon they managed the team for the expedition, and I flew to Nepal. Astound by the culture, place, and people, I had a very good time in Kathmandu city before I left for Lukla.
I knew the expedition was going to be harsh. The route to the summit has steep and technical sections, including the prominent Lhotse Couloir, which needs climbers to navigate a narrow gully of ice and snow. Thanks to Sherpa Brother from the agency, they have excellent technical climbing skills. Going hand in hand, Lhotse Expedition was a triumphant story of mine.
Highly Recommended!!
