Those mentioned above are only the standard price and guidelines for the impressive climb of Dhampus Peak. But we also understand that every trekker’s requirements may be unique. So we can modify your climb to Dhampus Peak itinerary to suit your specific needs. Still, some factors like politics, weather, transport, landslides, or flight cancellations may cause itinerary changes. We at Peak Climbing Nepal rank top in providing the best services, ensuring your safety and pleasure. We have an excellent team composed of professional and licensed local guides. These professionals have unparalleled knowledge of the whole region.
To accent Dhamus Peak, you will have two options, one from Dhamus Pass and another from the Kali Gandaki Valley. Our 20-day itinerary includes the ascent from the Damus Pass at (5,240m). This is one of the challenging passes. It involves the ascent of around 1000m from Hidden Valley. The Dhampus Peak, Climbing route difficulty level, varies on different conditions. If there is little or no snow on the route, the climb will be easy for trekkers. But the climb will be more challenging if heavy snow is on the trails because of all the ice. Because of the icy route, the claim will need mixed climbing at a high altitude. Without any regular, this peak climbing can be rated as a slightly challenging trekking expedition.
For a successful chance of reaching the summit of Dhampus Peak, trekkers will require a moderate level of mountaineering skills. You can also get this moderate mountaineering skill from your previous climbs. Even if the trekking route condition is not icy, the main challenge is the physical effort required to ascend over 1,000m at a high altitude. In the worst scenarios, trekkers with significantly less experience and moving too slowly may have to turn around. If we are to talk about the success rate, then it is relatively low. This was first evident by the statistics from the Ministry of Tourism in 2019. This status showed that only 33 successful summits out of 76 climbing permits were issued, resulting in a 43% success rate. Novice travelers can attempt Dhamus Peak Climbing but must have a good fitness level and average experience. On this trek, we first screen our trekkers to know if reaching Dhampus Peak for this is a possible goal or now. After this, we provide feedback on additional training or experience required to join the expedition.
One should be fit to have enough winter mountaineering expertise and have a budget for any expedition. If you have all these requirements, you can join this 20 days trek, which will be worthwhile. Despite all the experience, most of the trekkers find the Dhaulagiri Circuit trek enough level of challenge and adventure. Also, trekking around the Hiden Valley will be a memorable day in the Himalayas. This area is not so crowded because of its remoteness and inaccessibility. So, you will only see a few trekkers around you here. We at Peak Climbing Nepal are happy to arrange your 20-day Dhampus Peak Climbing journey if you are willing.

I booked my trek with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition, and from the beginning everything felt well organized and supportive. From the time I arrived in Kathmandu, the team helped me with preparation and explained the daily plan clearly. My guide was experienced, friendly, and very patient, especially when the altitude started to feel challenging. He regularly checked on me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the trek.Even though I was trekking solo, I never felt alone on the trail. The guide and porters were very supportive, and I met other trekkers along the way, which made the journey more enjoyable. My original route (Mera Peak-Amphu Laptsa Pass-Island Peak) was not possible as the the pass was closed due to the heavy snowstorms end of Oct. The agency and my excellent guide Gelchen Sherpa were very flexible and after summiting the Mera Peak we went back to Lukla and trekked to Island Peak via the EBC. I arrived shortly after the democracy protests and there was still a lot of confusion. All the other trekkers had cancelled and there were no internal flights. Prakash Devkota didn’t let this impact my expedition and organised overland travel and I am sure ran the whole trip just for me at a financial loss. The weather was awful until we reached 4500m then blue skies and stunning landscape. Had a brilliant time being the first and only person on the Mera Peak Summit. I am 60+ and had done lots of training but found the whole trip much easier than the pre trek preparations. Can’t wait to return to Nepal.Posted on Krassi DVerified Good service and solution-oriented. This was my second trekking in Nepal alone but the first time with firm to Mr. Prakash. I got good and detailed information ahead of the trip and had a meeting with him the day before the draw started where he gave me detailed information about the trip.
