Kusum Kanguru Peak Climbing Nepal is an impressive peak that is also located in the Khumbu region of Nepal. The peak lies on the border between the Dudh Koshi to the south and Hinku Valley to the north. The peak was first ascended by a Japanese expedition team in Autumn, 1979.

The name Kusum Kanguru is also derived from Tibetan, meaning Three Snow Peaks. In fact, Kusum Kanguru is a complex of three summits. East Summit Kusum Kanguru 6358m, Main Summit Kusum Kanguru 6367m, and the West Summit Kusum Kanguru 5579m.

Kusum Kanguru Peak Climbing with Peak Climbing Nepal Guide Treks starts at Kathmandu. After spending a full day sightseeing around Kathmandu. We will take a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to the airstrip of Lukla which is the gateway to Khumbu and entire Everest region.

From Lukla, we start our trek on the main Everest Base Camp trail and head towards Monjo. From Monjo our trailheads east-south leaving the main EBC trail. We trek through Tuli Kharka and head towards Thangna. With good acclimatization days, we continue our trek to the Base Camp and further to High Camp.
