Overview

Pumori is often referred to as the Daughter of Everest, where the word Pumori means Unmarried daughter in the Sherpa language. This stunning pyramid-shaped mountain is in the Mahalangur Himalayan range on the Nepal-Tibet border. It is around 8 kilometers west of Everest in the upper Khumbu region.

Pumori is a technically challenging 7,000-meter expedition in the Himalayas with steep ice and rock faces, crevasses, and exposed ridges. You need to have previous mountaineering experience as well as a considerable level of physical fitness and endurance to navigate the demanding climbing routes of Pumori.
