Overview

Extending the flares of different mountains above the Kali Gandaki River to the Bheri River, the Dhaulagiri massifs have relished the deep blue skies of the Western part of Nepal. Among all the prominent mountainous expanses, Putha Hiunchuli, also known as Dhaulagiri VII, is thumbing proudly with glory at an altitude of 7246 m. Despite being the last 7000-altitude mountain of the Dhaulagiri range, Putha Hiunchuli comes on the top list of adventurers and trekkers alike for the expedition.

Situating at the westernmost side of the Dhaulagiri range, Mt. Putha Hiunchuli spreads the aura of isolation and solidarity among the crowd. Dhaulagiri VII’s distant wilderness and humility drew famed explorer Jimmy Roberts in 1954 to immerse himself in the tranquil ambiance of the pristine peak. Since then, this mountain in the Dolpa region of Nepal has been driving many mountaineers to find a reason to climb.

The Putha Hiunchuli expedition is the blank canvas of the adventure that proves that the summit is what drives mountaineers, but the climb itself is what matters. This expedition is the masterpiece that converges your ambition to human endeavor when your crampons echo your spirit of exploration, and every strike of the ice axe on snow represents your symphony of determination against the wind and altitude.
