Are you searching for a peak between 5000 to 6000 m in the Himalayas for climbing? Tent Peak Climbing is the best option that offers an alluring vista of magnificent mountains at the South Face Base Camp of Annapurna.
The Tent Peak Climbing is best suitable for travelers who intend to rise from trekking to beginner mountaineering. This trip gives you a picturesque view of the landscapes and mountains in the Annapurna region.
This expedition is a part of the Annapurna Conservation area, so you will need permits to enter the sanctuary. The forests of these areas are home to different species of plants and animals.
You will climb via the more leisurely route that is the standard Northwest ridge which is less physically challenging. On your way, you see several peaks such as Annapurna I, Machhpuchhre, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Singu Chuli, Fang, Gangapurna, Annapurna II, and Annapurna III.
The season of Autumn and Spring is the best time for Tent Peak Climbing. The weather and temperature are promising for climbing a peak above 5000 m. The overall weather condition is suitable in both upper and lower regions.
Tent Peak Climbing is the best opportunity for novice climbers to gain some experience in mountaineering. The climbing permit costs about USD 350 from the NMA for a four-member team.

About Tent Peak
Another alternative name for Tent Peak is Tharpu Chuli. This mountain is a trekking peak located in the Himalayas ranges of Nepal. The peak lies in a lovely position in the center of Annapurna Sanctuary.
Tent Peak lies at an elevation of 5695 m above sea level in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The coordinates of the Tharpu Chuli are 28° 33’ 42” N 83° 53’ 25” E. A crew of Japanese expeditioners led by Dr. Haruo Higuchi first ascended the peak in 1964.
Before that, many tried summiting the peak but only did the climb. Col. Jimmy Roberts first coined (not submitted) the mountain in 1956; later, a British expedition tried summiting in 1957.
The group led by Dr. Haruo made the ascend via the southeast Ridge, Alpine Grade AD. And later, in 1965, Gunter Hauser and the German party summitted the peak via northwest Ridge, Alpine Grade PD.
