Permit Fees
During any high-altitude adventures like trekking and climbing, permits are essential. The permits help to keep records of the trekkers and climbers which is crucial to know about their safety.
In addition, the permit fees are used for the development of the infrastructure of the local area and the conservation of natural resources. So, obtaining permits is a must for Lobuche Peak Climbing. For Lobuche peak climbing, you need Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit, Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit.
In addition, you also have to obtain a climbing permit for Lobuche Peak from the Nepal Mountaineering Association. If you book our Lobuche Peak Climbing package, we will receive a permit on your behalf. The cost of permits is included in the package.
Accommodation

Meals

The package covers the cost of breakfast during Kathmandu and all full board meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). The breakfast and dinner will be at the pre-arranged teahouse where you stay for the night. For lunch, you will have it at a teahouse along the way.

Our Lobuche Peak Climbing Package includes the expenses of guides, their food, salary and insurance. During the journey, a professional climbing guide will accompany you and help you with navigation.
In your trekking period, you will trek to varied terrains of places like Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche etc. In addition, you will also hike to Kala Patthar and visit Everest Base Camp. Then, you will make your way towards Lobuche Peak Base Camp. After making it to base camp you will then trek to high camp on the following day. Then you will prepare for the ascent on the next day. During that duration, you will need to carry all the essentials. The terrains of Everest are rugged, steep and uneven in many parts. Carrying the heavy loads on your own is very daunting. So, you will need the valuable support of the porters who will carry your baggage.
When you have porters by your side, you will have smooth navigation. You do not need to worry about traversing while carrying heavy bags. Transportation
All the costs of transportation (Grounds and Flights) included in the Lobuche Peak Climbing Package are fully covered. We will receive you from the airport and drop you off at your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle. Similarly, we have designed an itinerary where we will spend one more day in Kathmandu for sightseeing. You will travel to the beautiful places of Kathmandu Valley comfortably in a private vehicle.
Likewise, the other transportation costs include (Hotel – Airport) drop-off expenses for domestic flights. In addition, domestic flight fares between Kathmandu and Lukla are also covered by the package.
Group Equipment
Various equipment is required during the peak climbing period, like tents, kitchen equipment, ropes, etc. During the climbing period, you will stay in a tented camp, and the trekking/climbing crew will carry the kitchen equipment to the base camp and prepare warm food for you. While you have to cover the expenses for the personal climbing gear, the cost of essential climbing gear and equipment for the group is covered by the Lobuche Peak Climbing Package.
First Aid Kit

Personal Climbing Gear
The Cost of Personal Climbing Gears is not included in the package price. The Lobuche Peak Climbing Package covers the cost of group equipment. However, you should buy or rent personal climbing gear yourself. The peak climbing journey requires you to be well equipped with all climbing essentials to ensure a successful ascent. So, you need to check the climbing gear list for Lobuche Peak and pack the personal climbing gear accordingly.
Nepal Visa and International Flight Fare
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will require a visa. You can get a Nepal visa for 15 days, 30 days and 90 days. You can choose the visa on the basis of the length of your stay and also extend it if you wish to stay for more days.
The cost of international flight fare is not included in the Package. When you land at the airport in Kathmandu, the Lobuche Peak climbing package covers the costs of ground transportation and domestic flights. However, the cost of international flight fare is not part of the package price. For international flights, you can select the airlines and choose the one based on your budget.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is crucial during high-altitude adventures like trekking and climbing. The insurance policies also have different packages.
For Lobuche Peak climbing, we recommend you to have an insurance plan that provides coverage against medical expenses because of any kind of illness and accidents during treks, lost or stolen luggage, trip delays, postponement, interruption or cancellation and emergency rescue in case of emergencies. Travel Insurance’s cost is not covered by the package and you have to choose an insurance plan on your own.
Personal Expenses
During high altitude adventures like trekking and climbing periods there are many personal expenses that can arise throughout the journey. As peak climbing takes several days to complete, you need all the essentials required for the journey which comes under personal expenses.
The essentials include warm clothes, trekking poles, sunscreens, tissues, necessary medications, etc. So, that adds to the personal expenses. In addition, during the journey, you may want to buy something along the way, like snacks and souvenirs, which come at your own expense. Similarly, personal expenses also highly depend on your preferences.
Getting additional services like Wi-Fi, hot showers and device charging also comes under personal expenses. It is highly recommended that you always carry extra cash with you as unexpected expenses can occur at any moment during the journey.
Tipping
While tipping is not mandatory, it can be expected by guides and porters. Tipping for guides and porters can be a way of showing your appreciation for their valuable assistance throughout the trekking and climbing period. When you tip the guides and porter by acknowledging their hardwork, they will get further motivated. In addition, the tips are the extra income for the guides and porters. Usually, travelers tip about 10% to 15% of the total cost. However, it is completely upto you to decide the amount that you want to tip.
Additional Meals in Kathmandu Beyond Itinerary
Our itinerary includes your stay in Kathmandu for two days and the cost of breakfast is covered by the package. There are many eateries in Kathmandu city. Whether you prefer fine dining or local dishes, you will find a variety of restaurants that serve both. In addition, you may also try the local snacks by visiting the stalls. However, the cost of any additional meals that are not included in the itinerary is not covered by the package and will be your own expense.
