When you arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our airport representative member will be on standby with a private vehicle to pick you up. After spending a day acclimatizing and exploring at the Nirekha Base Camp, we ascend towards the high camp of this peak. Today's journey is only for a short period of time, and during the remaining period, you can acclimatize and prepare for the climbing adventure of Nirekha Peak.
The ascending trail to high camp leads us through the narrow passes of steep rocky slopes. Continuing further, you will reach a flat surface just beneath the glaciated moraine, where we set up our tented campsite. From the high camp, we begin our Nirekha Peak climbing adventure the following day.

8-9 hrs Trek & Climb Tented Camp
Nirekha Peak Elevation: 6,169 meters/20,234 feet
On day 12, we will be climbing and conquering the Nirekha Peak. We will begin the climb early in the morning. The climb is technical and takes a day-long time to reach the summit and descend down to the base camp. So, we have to move early, which also avoids the possibility of adverse weather conditions after midday.
The summit push of Nirekha Peak involves navigating the technicalities like glaciers with crevasses, steep ice and snow sections, narrow passes, etc. With climbing equipment like ice axes, crampons, ascender/descender, fixed ropes, etc., we pass through the challenging routes and make it to the top of this newfound peak. From the summit of Nirekha Peak, you can marvel at the spectacular 360-degree panorama of eight thousander Himalayas, Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu, and several 6,000 meters class peaks like Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, etc.
Spend some time celebrating the successful achievement of the Nirekha Peak pinnacle and begin descending down to the base camp. Enjoy the mountainous terrain from a different perspective while retracing your footsteps all the way from the top to the Nirekha Base Camp.

Nirekha Base Camp to Macchermo trek offers a picturesque journey through the core of the Khumbu region. The trekking journey begins to descend, following the trails northwards. You will pass through the alpine meadows and traverse the forested trail of rhododendrons and pine.
Trekking further, you will encounter the rugged and rocky terrains, where you have to make several short ascends and descends. Slowly, make your ascent to Macchermo for warm meals at cozy teahouse accommodations. Nirekha Peak Climbing was Great !!!
We just completed our adventurous climb to the summit of Nirekha Peak. Oh, it was one of the best moments of our life !!! Wonderful climb of ‘ Nirekha Peak ‘

We wanted to climb the attractive – Nirekha Peak for a long time. After some time of surfing on the internet, we found a good package that included Nirekha Peak Climbing. So, we booked our Nirekha peak climbing with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition. We are very glad that we received with the top level of service not only during the trip but even before and after the trip. Many thanks to our guide – Dendi Sherpa, who always took care of us and guided us to the summit. The feeling was just amazing. Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition payment and cancellation policy is as follows:
- 30 Days or Before: Full Refund of Deposit
- 20 -29 Days: 50% will be deducted from Deposit
- The deposit payment will not be refundable once the cancellation is done prior to 20 days or less.
