The same rule works for the mountain expedition as well. Good preparation doesn’t only ensure the safety and comfort it will also make your trip a lot easier and enjoyable. Having the right gear in your packing will definitely make a big difference.

Mera Peak climbing is one of the most aspired adventures in Nepal. Mera Peak is the highest trekking Peak in the world which is located at the edge of Khumbu Region. It is one of the most alluring trekking in Nepal. The journey is stimulating and ideal. This trekking brings you closer into the world of a picturesque village, pristine biosphere, diverse culture, and most significant mountain peaks.

Mera Peak Climbing location is in isolation and its wilderness make it unspoiled. The high altitude makes it physically challenging. It is better to have previous climbing experience but it is not mandatory. Since we will be availing to the most extreme weather conditions over an extended period of time, we need to put an emphasis on safety and comfort. Mera Peak climbing is technically straightforward because the snow slopes exceed 40 degrees and the final 50 meters from the top requires ropes, ice peaks, harness, crampons, etc.

Climbing Boots

Successful peak climbing depends upon the comfort and safety of your feet.  A proper pair of climbing boot is therefore must.

Properly insulated boots with additional stiffness and support are to be arranged. You need to be sure that they are compatible with the crampons.

Crampons

A crampon is a grip (traction) device that is attached to the footwear to improve mobility on snow and ice during ice climbing.

It is best to walk over glaciers, ice fields, and steep ice surfaces.
