Phari Lapcha Peak stands magnificently at an altitude of 6,017 meters in the Gokyo Valley of the Khumbu region. It is a popular trekking peak of the Mahalangur Himalayan Range, offering the best climbing experience. The climbing permit for Phari Lapcha was officially issued as a trekking peak in 2002 A.D.

During the trek to the Phari Lapcha Base Camp, you can have a unique experience exploring the off-the-beaten trails in the Everest region, unlike other well-known mountains. On the way, you will traverse diverse, impressive mountainous landscapes such as verdant hills, thick forests, shimmering rivers, placid lakes, cascading waterfalls, moorlands, pastures, glaciers, and more. While trekking across the Sagarmatha National Park, the wide variety of birds, wild animals, and vegetation will enrich your journey. The remote wilderness terrains and pristine natural beauty of the Phari Lapcha Peak region make it one of the destinations desired by adventure and solitude seekers.

Phari Lapcha Peak climbing demands proper physical fitness, mountaineering experience, and technical skills, as well as excellence in rock and ice climbing. You need to set up a high camp at a significant altitude and acclimatize to the lower oxygen levels of the thinner air. From high camp, you will make it to the summit of the peak by ascending through icy glaciers, steep slopes, and rocky ridges. Standing atop the Phari Lapcha Peak, you are blessed with wide-ranging views of the mountains, such as EverestLhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama DablamThamserku, Kantega, Cholatse, Barutse, Kusum Kanguru, Taboche and many more adjacent peaks.
